Our Founder
Shri Rajendra Jain ( Biography )
The primary distinction between a businessman and an industrialist lies in their approach. A businessman focuses solely on profits and losses, whereas an industrialist prioritizes the progress of all stakeholders, alongside business growth.
Our founder Shri Rajendra Jain exemplifies an industrialist…..
He was born in a small town Alote (Madhya Pradesh), keenly interested in agriculture and its contribution to the country’s progress. He did his higher studies from GB Pant University, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand), where he was an exemplary performer and a very active sportsman.
He founded Eagle Seeds in the year 1982. Initially, he pioneered in the industry the concept of high-volume, low-cost production for crops like wheat and soybean. Through his exceptional leadership, he steered the industry in a new direction, driving collective progress.
Under his leadership, the company undertook seed production and packaging for Maha Beej, a renowned Maharashtra government enterprise. However, his visionary guidance enabled the company to establish its own marketing network, transitioning to exclusively sell seeds under its proprietary brand within a remarkably short period.
Previously, it operated by renting close to 25-30 warehouses. In 1999, the company established its own warehouse and processing unit in Peer Karadia village, near Kshipra, Indore. However, as the company’s brand gained popularity among farmers, demand for Eagle seeds surged, leading to a warehouse shortage. To address this, Shri RK Jain expanded storage capacity, incorporating state-of-the-art machinery etc.
Thanks to his visionary leadership, the company continues to experience steady growth. Today, it boasts seven warehouses in Peer Karadia village along with state-of-the-art processing lines and a NABL accredited QC lab and additional processing locations across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana etc. Strategic partnerships enable operations from these locations, fueling expanded reach.
