Processing

Our Founder

One of the prime features of the company is its processing plant at Kshipra. The processing plant has state-of-the-art facilities for storage and processing of seeds. The plant has a processing area of 46000 square feet (4140 square meters). The combined storage capacity of the plant is more than 300,000 qtls. (30,000 MT) of seeds. The plant is regularly upgraded with the latest machinery and technologies to ensure that superior quality seeds reach the farmer by optimizing costs, minimizing operational errors, improving safety, increasing productivity and hassle free logistics management.

Seed Processing Machines

Seed Processing is a crucial aspect of seed production. All the production is graded on our processing machines to give out the final graded seed. The quality depends on grading and grading depends on the processing machines which are being employed. That is why, we have always insisted on the best available processing machines having the latest technology. This enables us to meet our large targets and at the same time maintain the quality standards that Eagle brand is known for. There are about 5 processing machinery lines with different capacities. Overall capacity of processing is 34 MT/hour.

Some of the key features of the processing machines are as follows.

  • Latest technology machines from Fowler-Westrup, Agro saw, Linux Magnetics, Reliance Automations, Buhler optical sorter, JSN FFS etc.
  • Scientifically designed to ensure less breakage of seeds during grading.
  • Automated elevators to maintain rate of input and minimize wastages.
  • Built-in pre-cleaner and chaff separator mechanisms.
  • Large processing capacity to meet the pressure of demand during season.
  • Different processing modules are adopted for different crops and seasons, meeting stringent quality norms.
  • Seven state-of-the art insulated warehouses with a combined storage space of around 3.50 Lakh Sq. ft, to store seed material under ambient temperature and a cold room with controlled Rh and temperature.

To manage plant operations, we employ trained staff who operate the machines and continuously monitor the quality of graded seed being obtained from the machine.
